But A BIG OUCH on the quality of that advice should you choose to heed it.

Thats for sure only in some situations though. Perhaps only an environment that is not seeking change. I went to the non-creative environments for advice! OUCH. All my life I have been following bad advice. Maybe showing up as creatives in a compliant environment is like dancing in a dusty room. At first I disagreed. The way you phrased it, sounded like the [b]capability[/b] of the person to receive , not the [b]decrease[/b] of good advice. I would be interested in how many people were trying to advise Einstein or Rembrandt and what that quality was. Only when I found people to[i] run [/i]with me, not saddle me, was the advice "good or empowering.
